I am a police officer in a city south of Boston, 6 years so far. I work the midnight shift to give myself more time for golfing, although it doesn’t always work out as planned haha.

I just joined TST a few days ago and love the site. I was a residential framer for approximately 16 yrs. Residential Superintendent for 5 yrs for one of the largest builders in the state's until the crash of 08 and out the door i went. Back to school and earned an Associates in Criminal Justice now a Corrections Officer.

Previous job was active duty military for 13 years, 6 tours overseas, 1 year in Korea, and got das boot from our current Commander and Chief with his glorious budget cuts. So now im a "Technical Support Engineer" which is fancy term for a help desk call center. Basically all I do right now is sit in a cubical, and answer a telephone, write up problems military bases are having with fuels accounting software and send that ticket to the appropriate field for troubleshooting. I fix small issues like account lock outs or billing information for Aircraft. But for the most part, I just answer phone calls and take down information.

      Day 13, April 21.  Putting drills at a nearby course's practice green.  Took 36 putts to complete the 24-putt twice-around drill, which is far better than yesterday.  One of those is a fluke, I hope today is indicative.  I need to do this drill more.  I set it up for 6' and, through 44 putts, had sunk 10/12 twice and 2/12 once, but just couldn't manage to finish the other two.  I got frustrated and went home. I also spent half an hour on full swing drills with a 6-iron, and even got a little bit of video.  Not a full picture change yet, but my backswing goes "only" to parallel, a big improvement on before, but not as short as we're going for.  But it's progress and that's encouraging.

      Day 44 (21 Apr 26) - Worked on weight shift (adding a slight pause at top of backswing to “feel” the loading on lead foot)…hit a few 7irons using hard foam balls….later in the day worked with the grandson on pitches toward a 5 gallon bucket from 25yds using foam balls….great session on specific target focus.

      Here is my quick rundown.  Hole 1: Mid Pines Hole 2: Southern Pines Hole 3: Southern Pines Hole 4: Southern Pines Hole 5: Mid Pines Hole 6: Mid Pines Hole 7: Mid Pines Hole 8: Southern Pines Hole 9: Southern Pines Hole 10: Mid Pines Hole 11: Southern Pines Hole 12: Southern Pines Hole 13: Mid Pines Hole 14: Mid Pines Hole 15: Mid Pines Hole 16: Mid Pines Hole 17: Southern Pines Hole 18: Mid Pines So, 10 to 8 Mid Pines over Southern Pines. Some of those are close to 50/50.
