Found this via golf reddit, I dunno why the course is designed like this. I saw in the Google reviews there is night golf so maybe there are lights setup at where all the greens meet up? Maybe local Torontonians can chime in. It's located between Richmond Hill and Newmarket.

I'm guessing it's the Challenge Course:

Putting the greens and tees close together would be a good idea if you're putting lights up.

You may want to update the map in your post -- the text says Canada but the map shows southern Los Angeles.
