I would go to

www.golfsmith.com/cm and post it in the clubmaker's forum. The Golfsmith Technical Dept. reads those posts regularly and they are excellent with these types of questions. Plus, if they don't know, there's a pretty decent chance someone else on there will. Actually, I just went there and did a search and found this :

Thanks , that is exactly what i wanted, lofts are very similar.. its interesting to note that the CG Golds are 1° more upright on the long irons and up to 2° more on the short irons... Im going to get fitted for them this week, cant wait... Thanks again...

Check ironfinder.com

I recall the lofts on the Top-Flite Tour 303 irons of 1996 as:

2  19

3  22

4  25

5  28

6  32

7  36

8  40

9  44

pw 48

This is 1* weaker than standard.

I had 1997 Top Flite Tour Mid-Size and I think they were a bit more lofted.  I'm pretty sure the PW was 47 or 48 vs 45 which more standard for a current PW.

My equipment:

Driver - Callaway FT3 Fusion (9 degree)
3 Wood - Orlimar Tri-Metal (9 degree)
Hybrids - Bobby Jones (17, 21 & 25 degree)

Irons - KZG XCB 5 - PW

Wedges - Warrior (52 & 56 degree)

Putter - STX Envision

Ball of choice - Callaway TOUR i(s)

My PW on my 1999 wilsons is 49 degrees... Just that them to a shop... They will tell you.. Just bring the wedge and the 3... You can figure the rest as they were 4 degree different..

The old tour clubs played these lofts.. Dont understand the loft game to pretend you hit farther...LOL..

Take the CI 11 wilsons. The GW is 48 so that will play like my PW now...

So will someone say WOW you hit a gGW that fair??? And I say now its really a PW....And if I get the 3 iron it would really be a 2 iron from back in the day...

After the GW in most sets the SW is so far away to fill the void... Best buying a Volkey or callaway forged to fill that... Should only be for sand and flops anyway...

Just my opinion though....

Take pics of these clubs... The old clubs from that era were actually pretty good and better then the huge cavitys they have today...

Here is my old wilsons that play very well in forgivness but play like a blade... I gave my callaways away and went back to these.. Looking at the ci 11's but cant get past the blackness...

    • Day 23: weird day, and only had a little bit of time. Just did mirror work again, working on where the elbow is in the downswing
    • I flipped over to this tonight and thoroughly enjoyed it. Anyone else watch? I picked it up during the golf relay event, but seeing these pros out having fun in alternative events was refreshing and entertaining. I’m sure it will be on in reruns in the next week or so, so I won’t spoil the outcome. Im curious what others thought of it. I’m recording it’s later airing to see the beginning.
    • Day 443 - 2025-12-17 Made a few swings in testing some things out at another academy. Might pop up on someone else's podcast in a few weeks.
    • Day 37 (17 Dec 25) - nine hole round with my good friend.  We got paired up with a couple of the men’s group regulars as part of their shootout.  Started off with a wonderful quad bogie and then a dbl on three to be six over thru three holes.  Game went 180° over the next five as I shot one under (including a chip in birdie on hole six and four up and down 1 putt pars) for a net finish of five over. What could have been a really tough nine became a solid finish due to staying in the moment and not checking out.  Great day in course management and keeping perspective .
    • Day 127 12-17 Backswing and flow practice. Took advantage of the 60 degeee weather(it was 20 degrees Sunday)
