I'm thinking about buying the TaylorMade Monza Corza (or is it Corza Monza?) putter. I currently use the standard 2-ball. Anyone have any comments?

I've mine ordered ( the center-shafted model, not out yet ). I got sold to TM putters with my latest weapon - Monza Mezza C/S. Love it, expecting Corza to be a step up.

if you want an objective opinion ( kind of, I know for a fact that Erik doesn't like Taylor Made ) - see his review at the main site : http://thesandtrap.com/archives/club...ers_review.php

I've putted with the Corza at the Pro Shop but not on course. The thing I like most about the Corza is that it rolls that ball well... better than many with their new AGSI insert. The reviews seem consistent in this regard.

If I was going to use a mallet, that's what I'd use. Plus, it would make me feel like Sergio.

Dunno if you'd want to putt like Sergio noodles...

There's a review here isn't there? Also one at bogeylounge.com and my blog too. It is a nice mallet putter. Rolls the ball very well. I had a friend who switched to the Monza and he is rolling the ball much better. Give it a test drive before you buy though!

To be fair, he said "feel" like Sergio, not "putt" like him.

I wouldn't mind "feeling" what Sergio is feeling, oh, probably at least 30 nights out of the year. The guy gets some babes. But back on topic, yeah, try it out. It's a great putter, but get the right length and make sure all the holes and the head shape doesn't throw you off. It does to some.

Got my Center-Shaft Corza last friday. Right away I changed the grip (didn't like the rectangualr Scotty-like design) to Winn AVS17. Came with 12g in the head; after couple hours on the putting green I ended up adjusting it to 20g total weight to get the feel "just right". There is no doubt - roll of this putter is perfect, feel (thanks to adjustability) is great, lines up nice - absolutely no complains. Somebody said something about a glare being a issue - maybe it's different finish on the C/S, but this one is matt, absolutely no reflections from that surface.
I'm a very happy customer. Can't say I make more putts with it - there is no magic, still have to read right and put a good stroke on it - but I'm happy with the fact, that the ball is rolling according to what I do during the swing - no surprises. On slight off-center mishits the balance is great too, I'd have to go way on the heel or toe to see an impact.
Overall score : 4.9 out of 5 !

I got it! I love it. I've gone to the conventional grip after about 12 years of going crosshanded (well, actually I wasn't crosshanded, kind of a hybrid crosshanded with basically only five fingers touching the grip). I also was using the belly putter for about three years. I'll tell you what - I find I putt with more feel when I make a change, and I notice a big increase in feel after I go back to the belly putter after using the standard putter for a while. I'll probably tinker with the weights, but right now everything seems to be working, so I don't want to mess with it.
