I was at Golf Galaxy the other day and saw the impact tape "strike and swipe" that appeared on Fore Inventors Only. Same name, same look, same function as on the show. but the package said a david leadbetter product.

nothing whatsoever about the guy who invented it, i was curious if he sold the idea to mr. leadbetter or if leady "borrowed" the idea

any thoughts?

On a side note: How much was it? I remember thinking that was a good idea, might be worth it to get some for the range.

I just saw a website selling the product and it says "Endorsed by David Leadbetter". http://www.readygolf.com/catalog/pdetail.php?prdid=3966

Probably a deal where the inventor gives Leadbetter a piece of the action for putting the Leadbetter name on it. Knowing that having Leadbetter's name on it will sell more product.

I'd bet on this, too. I doubt Leadbetter - or any prominent instructor - would steal an idea, especially from a show seen by many of the target market.

Awards, Achievements, and Accolades

thats kind of what I thought, but I would think there would be a "As Seen on the Golf Channel" promo or something
