Got a free subscription when I played my round at TPC Canyons in Vegas last year. All I had to do was give them my email, and then take a 10 minute survey. Well worth it.

I get mine about a month early--they usually find their way to the top of the toilet along with the other reading material. Occasionally I'll find something good out of it and try it on the course. I'll probably renew--it's up for renewal soon.

I only subscribe to Golf Digest because every year some merchant gives me a free subscription with a purchase.

I read the "interest" stories and pretty much skip the lessons.
Since Flick believes the arms lead the swing and other writers say the hips lead, I skip the whole darned thing.
If I consciously try to move my hips, I spin out so fast my natural draw turns into a slice.

I do read the tips about different ways to attack pitching and chipping situations.
I don't think you can have too many of those shots in your game.

It is nice to have a couple dozen copies to select from in the throne room.
