Two Players, Two Aces, One Ball

All hole-in-one stories include luck. This story of two aces is almost too good to be true. We did some digging to get to the bottom of the story.

Two players each made an ace with the same golf ball on the same day.

As cool as this story is, I have such a big thing about picking up a ball thats not yours on a golf course, and I can't help but hope Ricardo found that ball deep in the woods.  Too many times I've watched someone pick up my ball I just hit (even in the middle of the fairway on the correct hole) and had one scarring incident as a kid where I picked up a ball that wasn't mine because no one was around, only to be yelled at by some drunk guy that I ruined his entire round by moving his ball....to this day I won't touch a ball on a course that isn't mine.
