Great putting tip

I got this from a golf magazine i was reading while in mexico.

Try putting with a tennis ball! it's like shooting an extra large basketball into a regulation hoop. Once you go back to your golf ball, the hole should look huge! try it

hahaha thats awesome! have you tried this? I think i might pull the cue ball off my pool table instead, or maybe a lax ball... seems like it would make sense i guess.

I've seen something similar to this - some object you put in the hole, that makes it about 1" smaller than normal, which helps sharpen up your aim.

i think a lacrosse ball would be great because it's hard rubber. However, it might be a lot tougher to move a lax ball as opposed to a tennis ball and your putting stroke might get a little too strong. i've used the tennis ball and had some good results. try it out!

Yes. We have a small (about half the size of regulation) hole in our putting green that gets plenty of use, myself included. It does help me, and judging by the number of times it needs to be moved around I'm sure it's helping others.
