Good place to buy golf shoes online?

Why don't you like TGW? They have great prices on older models and ship really fast.

If not TGW, try Golf Galaxy, Golfsmith and Ebay. I know you said "online," however, you might also try your local golf course pro shop. Once the season starts, a lot of items get discounted.

Edwin Watts is pretty good.

I have the best luck with Dexter shoes. Nice price, nice quality.

The only experience I have had buying golf shoes on line was this past February. I bought a pair of white FootJoy Gel Fusion II shoes from (gasp!) TGW. It was the first time I've bought from them and, while I had some trepidation, I was very pleased to get the shoes within 7 days of the order. I own Gel Fusions, so I was reasonably sure the shoes would fit well and they do. They were new, not seconds and I payed, including shipping, $99.

I really don't like to buy online, as I would prefer to support local merchants, but this deal was too good to pass up. So far, this has been the only time I've bought shoes online, as well as my only experience with TGW.

I know you said you would prefer not to deal with TGW, but I thought you might wish to throw my experience into the mix. Good luck.

I too have had good experience with TGW ...buying the sale golf shoes....
I think the prices on Golfsmith, Edwin Watts, Golf Galaxy are not as good...

the only other two sites I have used are rockbottomgolf and gofl discount....

I would go to the local pro shop...just picked up another pair of ECCO shoes for $99 (retail $159)

They have a great selection of shoes that are top notch, (thats if money isnt an issue) You can also customize your own shoes. Look around for the Myjoys page.

I was looking at the new Dryjoys in the fall. I tried them on in Golf Town (a major Canadian retailer) and found out I needed an 11 wide. They wanted $200 in the store, which was more than I wanted to pay, so I decided to think about it. Came home and went online and they were $130 on TGW. So, $70 in my pocket was enough to buy online.

      I tried them out a few years back but chose the Callaway Mavrik Pros. They’re nice as most Mizuno irons are. I used to play MP54’s and really liked them. I had a Mizuno stand  bag and never had any issues with it.🙂

      So last weekend was our annual two man best ball (two round net total for flight honors + a cross flight shootout tournament -  Schaubach Cup) tournament. It was a tale of two rounds. On day 1 my partner and bestie Pete (15.5 hcp) totally ham and egged to shoot a tourney best 58 - four shots clear of our next flight competitor team. He shot a career best 79 coming out with 5 straight pars while I fought my driver. I finally found my swing on the 6th hole and birdied three holes on the back side all of which I was stroking to pick up three net eagles. We basically played our our minds. It's amazing when driver/wedge/putter all workout. On the same day.  Day 2, as often happens ended up being a different story. We couldn't get much done with greens drying out to lightning fast (12 stimp) and shot a net 70 to finish 4 shots outside of making it to the playoffs. Good news was our flight leader won winning everyone in our flight $300 each.  In summary, except for the first four of the five holes, I have never driven the ball better and ecstatic that my putter made me a few bombs. Wedge was as good as I can control one in the pesky 55 to 85 yard range. Of course, all of this was day 1. Day 2 wasn't terrible but made no birds and had three three-putts...and my partner played like he had blown his load on Day 1. Heh. Another team shot 59 to beat us by a cumulative 4 shots. Came in 2nd. All in all was a great weekend.
