At my wits end. I know there have been topics like this posted before.

Have no flexibility issues. Practice swings look great and fluid, most clubs to parallel without restriction.

Put a ball there i don’t get to hip height numerous times, and my entire swing and golf game (and i love golf) is severely compromised.

I’ve even tried to look up Bob Rotella’s contact info- such is my desperation right now!

I’m 62 and would like to solve this before i depart the planet. PS- i do have quite a bit of tension and anxiety prior to playing.

Thx in advance- any help would be appreciated….psychological, instruction etc

Step 1: Hit balls into a net.

Step 2: Hit these outside somewhere.

The Ultimate Off-Course Practice Golf Ball. Performs like a real golf ball, except one-third the distance. Neighborhood and backyard safe.

Step 3: Hit balls normally.

That's what I'd try if I were you.

First, welcome to TST

Does this happen on the range or only on the course?

So, change it up. You have full swing yips. Balls into a net removes the target. Foam balls removes the "I'm hitting a golf ball" (while still kinda hitting a golf ball).

Take swings at a ball. You’re not allowed to proceed into the downswing until you see the club head pop out of the left corner of your eyes. Go slowly at first, then speed up the swings always waiting for the club to appear.
