"Straight drives every time," eh?

For that reason…

I hope so.
I'm actually very interested in your opinion on this. It's a short video. I think it's only 3 minutes.

Well… I rate the video as a 3/10. I might rate it 5 or 6 if he talked about screwing the foot the other direction, but I see a lot of people doing what he demonstrated there (in a bad way) where their trail leg gets almost fully straight and their hips turn too far and their pelvis gets forward too far too early.

This is better:

Also, the video title is as bad as I thought it was. This has very little to do with "straight drives every time." Heck, if there is a club you can hit off your back foot, it's the driver.

Turn into the inside of your trail foot a tad to not float over it, which I'm assuming he means by 'screw your trail foot into the ground' but locking out the knee like that cannot be a good thing by mile. Show me one good player who does that. Yah, don't do that.

3/10 is generous.

I'm glad you said that.

Cuz, I kinda thought the same thing. You had to help fix my "screwing the back foot into the ground" about 18 months ago. I was doing it in a bad way.

Pretty much what I was thinking.
