Hello everyone!

I played a few rounds of golf in high school (in TN) but never really got into it, and never owned my own set of clubs. A few months, a friend I work with was having his 40th Birthday party, and invited a group of our friends to go play 18 at NorthStar Golf Resort in Sunbury, OH....a new course designed by John Cook. I borrowed some clubs from a co-worker (who happens to be 6'3"....to my 5'10"). I didnt play well at all and had a horrible slice all day. It wasnt until after playing, I found out he actually had the clubs designed for him and his swing. The damage was done though.....I was HOOKED! I purchased my own set of Slazenger clubs and started going to the range every day after work. I have since played about (10) 18-hole rounds and cant get enough. My game has improved immensley over the past month or so, and I was able to shoot my lowest ever at northStar.....a 75 from the middle tees. I dont see me upgrading my equipment anytime soon....I love the way these clubs hit, and it will be a LONG time until equipment holds me back. Now I am looking forward to the Memorial Tournament for MUCH more than the beer!!

with the rapid improvement your making Ill look forward to seeing you on the telly soon

Hello everyone!

Welcome aboard. I'm from Lancaster. I grew up in Columbus though. Which Slazenger clubs did you pick up? I'm looking at getting some of them. Congrats on your low round. The Memorial starts tomorrow. Of course they are calling for rain this weekend too. Go figure.

Hey, I live in Reynoldsburg and play at Blacklick and the Links at Groveport all the time. I love having such a golf friendly city.

Hilliard, OH here. I usually play at Mill Creek in Ostrander, but I also like Blackhawk in Galena. Plus, I have Raymond Memorial about 10 minutes from the house.

Welcome aboard! I live in Powell and play all over Central Ohio. Northstar is a pretty good track. It will be interesting to see how it matures.
