My Weekend round.....with pics

Just wanted to share some pictures with everyone from my weekend round at my home course.



This was my second shot on hole #1. I had a nice drive straight down the fairway about 250 yds. Don't ask how the second shot turned out



This is a shot of the #2 green. I had an approach of about 150 yds that I nailed to about 10 feet from the hole (you can see the ball to the left of the stick). This was done in 30ish mph wind in my face. I made the putt also.



This was before my tee shot on #5. A couple days before this round, I hit two shots that both hit the same branch on the right hand tree. It happened to be a lone branch also, a few inches up or down would have resulted in a beautiful drive.



This was my second shot on #7 that I took from #8 fairway. I know it was out of bounds but no one was around. You can't tell but front left of the green is a 15 foot gully that I hit my next shot in to.

Hole #8 from the tees. My drive went up to the pines on the right hand side. About 10 yds short of having a clear shot to the green. This hole makes a dog leg right turn.



This was on #9. I hit a provisional because my first shot hit through the trees and I didn't see it come down. Second tee shot went over them and I found both of my balls with in 10 feet of each other and had a nice 40 yd chip on to the green .

It was a beautiful day if you don't mind the strong wind .

Wide open course, eh? Turf seems like its in pretty good shape, too. It looks like a nice place to play.

It is in pretty decent shape this year and not a bad course for a pretty small town

Looks like my kind of course - nicely maintained, but not overdone. I really like small town courses like that. Also, looks like you didn't have to deal with any crowding at all - a nice day on the course.

I think the wind had something to do with not very many people being out there. It was strong enough to blow some of the flags out of the cup. There was a two-some 2 holes in front of me and a two-some 3 holes back from me. It was a very nice day (minus the wind) for golf

Today would be better, no wind at all. It is actually border line too hot. If it wasn't league night I would play when I got off work. Since they won't let me then I won't. I don't understand what difference it makes letting guys on during men's league nights. I know why, Money!! Since league night is an additional cost not included in your membership.

Anyway, it would be a nice day to golf

It does look like a very nicely maintained course. I like the idea of the pics, any chance of getting a new thread for pics there boss? I see all the links to people's home course but I'm not going to go out of my way to visit any of the sites, a thread with pics from your round would be kind of cool.
