Another ball thread, but I've recently been trying various balls and wanted to write about them. I'm getting back into the game and am horrible right now

Prov1x (reloads)- I love these, distance, feel, I just sem to play better with them.

Prov1- liked the x, so bought a sleeve of the regualrs. Gotta hit them more (too scraed of losing them due to $), feel good, but I think the X is likely better for me at this point.

Wilson Staff 50/50- great feel, but something is weird about them, can't place it.

Nike One Plat- Ugh, for some reason I hate this ball.

Nike Mojo- Really suprised, probably tied for 2nd fav with below. Good distance and decent feel. Hate the finish though, ugly. I found one last box of these at a store so I bought them. I would likely buy more, but won't hunt them down.

Titelist NXT Tour- Great ball, has what I "like".

Nike Karma - Just too soft

TM Burner red (the cheapest) - Hate it, seems dead in every aspect.

Maxfli Fire (the cheaper one) - great deal when it is 2 doz for $20. All around solid performer, little harder feeling than I like, but very useable for me.

Strata Pro Distance- Found this one and was playing the heck out of it, really like it. Maybe likely due to me not losing it yet! IF they still made them I would buy.

So, in the end, the the reload Prov1x's are the clear winners for me. Plus, at $35 for 36 decent balls, they are cheaper than the $20 a dozen I usually tend to buy. I am gonna keep an eye out for new boxes of them on sale.

Likeing this ball, anyone have other suggestions that might be to my liking?

Since I've started playing the game again I've found the NXT Tours to be the best I've tried yet.

I'm trying a couple of Bridgestone balls at the moment. So far the B330 Tour ball has been super. I've heard many say it compares to your beloved ProV1X....I'm not sure...haven't played that one yet.

The B330 Tour balls are a bit high for my budget so I picked up a dozen E5+ balls. I'll be trying these out next week when I play some rounds with my father. I've been told that I should like these as much or more than I like the NXT Tour balls....I'll have to see.

The E5+ looks good on paper....very high spin, higher trajectory, soft, seamless......long distance.....all from a very reasonably priced two-piece ball. I hope it works for me.

Gonna have to try some of those Bridgestones.
I know it is basically pointless for a horrible player like me to play the $ balls, but heck, it is a small price to pay as I love trying different things.

Right now I am playing the NXT Extreme and I think its a pretty decent allround ball.

When I have them my favorite is the PRO V1x as well. They are amazing. I also did well with the HX Tour56, and they can be had for fairly cheap right now with Callaways newer ball out.

I have to agree with your thoughts on the Nike One. I didnt care for them at all either.
