You're missing the point. Because of the choice you've made regarding your "putting," a whole bunch of other statistics are thrown out of whack. One little choice you've made has not only affected your ability to accurately compare your putting to others (be they pros or amateurs), but also your ability to compare other statistics like scrambling, greens in regulation, and so on.

Also (on a side note) it kinda justifies the whole not being able to pick up your ball unless its on the green (not counting an irregular official ruling)...at least thats how I justify recording putt stats.

Putting average is 37.6. Was quite supprised when the stats came up after I started recording putts as I thought it would be lower. I do play all year round though ,the winter greens can be awfull.Maybe I should just record my putts in the summer.

Something that needs practice I think!

I am at an average 2.27 putts per hole (as measured by Oobgolf) so I am in the 40+ category. I am really trying to get it down to 2.0 even within the next 2 months as I am hitting the practice green every week and working for an hour on distance and accuracy.

I am averaging 31.7 putts per round. Thats high but I hit a lot of greens in regulation (67%) so its not that bad. I had 27 putts yesterday and thats why I shot under par.
