I will pay whatever it takes to have comfortable shoes. Unfortunately sometimes it takes a few rounds to find out if they are good or not for my feet. I had one pair of popular brand shoes that I wore through an 18 and a 9hole no problem. Went on my second 18 hole and by the 5th hole I felt a burning sensation in my left achilles. By the time I was done with 18 I had the worst blister I ever had. It looked more like raw meat. I had to wear flip flops to work for a week before I could wear shoes again. Fortunately I bought local and it was within the standard 30 day return policy other than on waterproofing for shoes and I got credit to pay for another brand.

This past February, I purchased a pair of Footjoy Gel Fusion II, 2007 model, for $99, at TGW.com. The shoes were closeouts and in perfect condition.

      Went up to Erie for a lesson. I still need to work on how I shift my weight into my right leg and turn into the right leg. I extend it too much and externally rotate it too much. That all causes me to over rotate the hips and cause weight shift issues in the downswing. I need to feel like my right leg gains flex (it doesn’t), and my knee cap faces forward. The right hip sinks back and right. I need a need a ton more internal rotation. I still have some right elbow issues in the backswing. The path is better, but too much right elbow bend. I need to maintain width in the right elbow and let my right shoulder retract more, let’s say at A3, which helps keep that right arm extended.

      Day 130 12-20 Today was just swinging what i had and go from there. Did focus on getting to lead side. Recorded swings for lesson  and hit real balls.

      Day 1 - 2025-12-20 Starting a new streak, of at least 1. With rain dumping for the next week in the north bay area, I'll be a lot of outdoor net work and maybe some putting. About 10 minutes of 7 iron work, focused on the usuals: weight transfer, keeping hands behind me. I'll have more time in the coming days for video review and maybe some Hack Motion.

      Day 40 (20 Dec 25) - got in a few reps with the 55° wedge - focused on low flighted spinners from about 10 yds in, then wrapped up the session with a few bump and runs chips with the 5i using a putting type stroke.
