Im thinking of getting a 3 wood. I have seen a good price on a Cleveland HiBore (I already have a hibore 2h). My question is which shaft to choose from the following:
Aldila NV65
Grafalloy Pro Blue
UST Proforce V2

My driver swing speed is around 105mph. I will choose the stiff flex but I do hit the ball too high.
Which shaft will help keep the ball low? From what I have read it seems the Aldila will suit me best. Opinions appreciated.

i'd say buy the club 1st. then shaft it based on what you want the ball to do when you hit it. I wouldn't put a shaft into a club unless I've hit the club consistently and seen what it does on mishits and on pured shots.

That makes sense but I don't want the added expense of re-shafting, these options are available from the store so I gotta choose one

what's your preferred ball flight? what kind of 3 wood are you using now? i didn't get a chance to check out the characteristics of all the shafts...but from personal experience, that UST joint is awesome. i'm reshafting my 3 wood and debating on either that shaft or the graffaloy epic shaft. that's a great 3 wood shaft

I played the NV 65 shaft in regular and like it. Did you hit balls with all three shafts and which did you like the feel and gave you the best results?

I have not hit the club yet. I don't currently have a 3 wood, I have been using a 1 iron which used to get me 230ish off the tee and pinpoint accuracy but thats out of favor at the moment so my setup right now goes from driver to 2 hybrid. My natural shot is too high so I want a low ball flight.

i say try the proforce v2. that's a pretty good shaft. the Graffaloy Epic might be too soft of a tip and low of a kickpoint.
