My son would tell me stories about how elderly members would screw around with the juniors and pull some of the cr*p you experienced. Never lose your cool. Sounds like you did all the right things. In a club environment word gets around quick about the idiots. Unfortunately, sometimes the clout of a well heeled member trumps truth and right. Do the right thing and 9 times outta 10 you will be OK. On a brighter note... I appreciate the members of my club in helping to instill good values in my son as he grew up playing the game. Golf has a great fraternity of gentlemen and you can learn valuable lessons from watching how they behave on and off the course. Good luck! Cheers!

Eore, I am curious. What was the outcome? What did the head pro say/ do?? Was the damaged green issue addressed???

the pro took the guy aside and talked to him i haven't been out there yet today to see what the outcome is, but i'll let you know. i'm sure he'll have to write a letter of apology to the members, greenskeeper, and the crew.

i'm going to hit balls in a bit, i'll let you know
