Distance between 2 hybrid and 7 wwod

Just curious how much shorter distance I can expect with my new Hybrid #7 wood and my #2 iron wood. The ironwood is 17* and the #7 hybrid is 21* and 1 inch shorter shaft.

2 irons are like 3 woods in distance so I would say 40 yards.

I thought a 2 iron was closer to a 5 wood? You read of a lot of pros that alternate between 2 iron and 5 wood depending on course conditions

Agree with others. You should get MORE distance from a 2 hybrid than a 7-wood. My old Callaway Heavenwood (#7) and my TM Burner 3 hybrid are similar distance clubs. The hybrid is much more consistent for me.

I think think a 2 hybrid's about the same distance as a 5 wood.... i've hit shots for 215 - 220 out with both my hybrid & someone else's 3 wood. it was basically the same thing.
