Wow, other then the first hole what a great day!

So this mourning I played nine with my dad at a pretty nice course, brutal greens, and very narrow. I got back in the afternoon and wanted to take full advantage of my day off. So I called a friend and we headed up to his home course. Now this course isn't a cow pasture, but it's far from a "nice" course. It's in expensive, and quiet. The kid I played with is a better golfer then I am, very knowledgeable and just an all and all great playing partner. We're the same age, and have gone to school together since we were little ones, but other then golf we don't have a lot in common. Anyways the first hole is a par 5, not unmanageable but still a good 500 yards. I took home a 9. I birdied the next and proceded to play 2 over par the rest of the way. I shot 41. One of my better rounds in a few weeks. It was a good time, just thought i'd rant about the good day.
