I bought one today at Dicks Sporting Goods, suggest by bflat. I think they are really cool looking. I don't buy into the whole thing that it will help you with aches, and pains, and your concentration level and stuff, but hey, maybe it will, who knows.

Does anyone wear them? If so, do they get kind of tangled and stuff? Like I kind of have OCD with these things. I need them as straight as possible. It took me literally 10 minutes to get the lettering to lineup, lol.

Also, it says you can wear them in the shower - but I read the review on the site her, The Sand Trap, and the writer said NOT to wear them in the shower because they get tangled and very very wet. But when I go to take it off, it gets tangled either way!

If anyone wears them, any secrets to getting them on and off without having them tangle?!

It won't. Unless it prompts you to remember a swing thought or something when you see it.

Anyone who believes that these things have special powers can buy some snake oil from me at a good price.

I might wear this one if someone gave it to me for free:

Or the college one (except they don't have my school.) If they did have my school, I might pay a couple of bucks just because of the "team spirit" factor:

I would not wear one from this line, even if someone gave it to me for free:

I have one. I actually did have some wrist pain and after wearing it I haven't had any. Even though I think it's from getting a new chair at work and repositioning my arm rests, I still think there is something to Eastern medicine.

I have tried a copper braclet and they seem to work. I don't wear one right now, maybe I need to find my old one or buy another.

My dad is making me wear one, i dont think that it has done anything for me. I dont really buy into this sort of thing and i think that when people get these you have to buy into them for them to work because they are a mental thing. TST did a review on them if you are lookinginto buying one.

Wearing it = very smart.

Pops spent the $20. The worst thing that can happen by you wearing it is that he will think you appreciate it. Wear it and accept his "I told you so(s)" with a big smile and a hearty "Thanks Dad!" In other words, don't sweat the small stuff. If it makes him happy, it ain't no thang.

Yeah these are really sweet CG01 and anyone else having problems with tangles, I usually just flip the cloth around then use the little plastic piece on top to straighten it out, I really have had no problems with tangles. Right when I take it off it tangles but once I put it back on I can fix it in no time.

  • 3 years later...

I put this in the Gear because I was not sure where else to post it.

I am looking for feedback on the use of Magnets, such as the Trion Z or stainless or copper bracelets.

I am looking for feedback from those who use them.

I have some people tell me they help in alleviate joint/muscle pains.

I have been told they can help energize you.

Those I know who wear them, swear by them. Those that don’t swear at them!

I was given a rubber band with titanium pieces in it by someone who is into this stuff. I was told this would help add power and to wear it on "my power arm" I am a righty, so I guess that is my right arm.

I tried it and I am just not sure of any results. Maybe It was because it was titanium and not a magnet. I have no idea!

I have always been a skeptic. I don’t believe in psychics, I don’t believe in Karma. I am not superstitious. But I can be convinced when I see results.

However as I approach 40, I am finding myself with aches and pains due to some old injuries. I have also started down the road of living healthier.

I am not exercising more and taking vitamins, among that is fish oil for joint pain.

However I have begun to explore magnets to see what they can add.

All these golf pro's cant be wrong, can they?

So my question is, which type of magnet do you have (bracelett/magnet)?

Which arm do you wear it on and why?

What does it do for you?

any info would be appreciated

I hear they sprinkled the fairways and greens with those rocks at Augusta National this year.

I wear a Trion-Z dual band solely because I like the look of it. It doesn't make me a better golfer, it doesn't stop me getting ill, it doesn't make me healthier. All it does is look good.

And no it doesn't get tangled when wet, nor stretch or go out of shape. It's been on my wrist constantly (pretty much) for a year or so and still looks great.

    • Day 132: did some mirror work while watching TV. Worked on backswing stuff primarily.
    • 26 Nov 24 -  It was not a record breaking round by any means, but rather a simple walking of the back nine today playing TBWB (two ball-worse ball) where the challenge is to play the worse of the two shots played - could be an errant drive from the woods, a tree knocked ball that is 100 yds farther back down the fairway, a nGIR ball as opposed to a GIR….the goal today was to stay no worse than bogie thru nine.  Managed to achieve that goal - bogied 7 holes with one dbl and one par to counter the dbl.  It’s about staying focused and not letting a bad shot or lie derail, but rather be an opportunity.
    • Day 208 (26 Nov 24)- Opted to walk 9 today (was the back nine as they had a huge group going off the front) but instead of it being persimmons and blades, I had the regular gamers but made it a TBWB (two ball-worst ball) round.  This really challenges on several fronts - ball striking to be as consistent as possible, course management from non-optimal lies and keeping your head in it as it can be depressing to nail a shot on line-on target and the second rattles the trees right and it’s over 50 yards back and that’s the one you have to play.  The goal was to be no worse than bogie overall (+9).  Finished the round exactly on the number with some solid recoveries, no penalty strokes and only one 3-putt.
