How much time do you devote to practice per week?

I am curious how much practice time do your devote to your game per week?

True practice? Zero. Unless you count putting and hitting a few balls before a round. That's about it.

The amount of time that I have to devote to golf is limited. When I do get the time, I like to spend it playing.

Earlier in the season I spend much more time practicing, while the courses are still in "winter golf" mode. Probably hit the range 1-2 times per week in march/april. Still pretty darn cold in CT at that time unfortunately. But as soon as it starts to warm up I want to be on the course.

Although, not a day goes by that I don't at least put a club in my hand in the backyard to take some swings, work on my pre shot routine, takeaway, etc. I doubt you could really call that "practice" but maybe I'm wrong.

I have spend about 15 minutes before I play practicing my chipping and work on my contact with the ball and chipping on the sofa at home, so a total about 1 hour per week.

I am a nurse so I only work three days a week so I have alot of free time. I spend about 4 to 5 hours a day. I hit about 200 balls a day. Most are with a 7 iron. I also putt about 200 days a day. Then I lift and run about everyday also. I have not been able to do this the last couple days with Fay hitting us. But will be out soon.

During the school year, I'm around 10 hrs a week, 1 hr after school every day and 5 more on the weekends. In the summer its about its about 45 hrs a week but 20 of those are spent on the course (but I count them as practice cuz I'll hit two balls off the tee, or work on shots around trees, or from bad spots by the green.)

I normally hit the range at least once a week and practice in the yard maybe 2-3 times for half hour at a time per week.

pretty much the same thing here... although now that I've moved south offseason will be shorter. I do WORK on various things throughout the year... but it's usually from the house with maybe an occaisionally range trip mid-season to iron something out.

I play 4 times a week, and put it around 30 to 60 minutes a day.
