31. Been playing since 13 or so. Not seriously until i started working on golf course maintanence after high school. Took 7 years off after i got out of the business (alot of good the rutgers golf turf maintanence program did) and just now starting to get the rust back out.

I'm 26 and I have been playing since I was 9. I actually started becoming an assistant pro when I was 18, then stopped and decided to go to school instead. I got distracted by beer and women etc, so didn't play while at uni and for a few years afterwards. I have just started again this year.

I'm playing for fun at the moment, but if I get back to where I was at 18, I might start getting a bit more serious.

Will be 38 in October - tried the game in my early 20's quit to play ball. Then injured my knee two years in a row then quit playing ball and then 2 years ago started playing golf again. Wished I had never quit in my 20's.

      Day 12 (21 Mar 25) - Weekly Friday men’s group shootout.   Tough winds (10-20 mph hurt going out and just as fast help coming in) made for tricky play on all shots.  It made for a very conservative round of coarse management.  Add that the greens were firm and fast and it was an interesting day all the way around.

      This is a decent sized carpet python we had to move from beside the green on Hole 3 at my home course. These are non-venomous but would give a damn painful bite and you’d be almost certain to get an infection without antibiotics.    The ones you need to avoid that are common here are eastern browns and redbelly blacks. They are angry and aggressive if provoked whatsoever. And deadly. So it ain’t worth looking for a ball in long grass!
