I want to throw my putter into a lake

I have a center shafted nike OZ mallet and I want to throw it into a lake.

I just bought it for $100 2 months ago and I started putting well with it, but lately I have been shittin the sheets on the greens.

I know, I know - don't blame the equipment, but putting is 90% confidence, and I have no confidence with this putter.

Looking for tips on putters under $100 to check out. I'm looking for a heel shafted blade.

I'm 6 days short of being able to post in the marketplace, anyone want to trade?

Both Bobby Grace and Odyssey make what you are looking for. As long as you know your specs, you should be able to find what you need on ebay. Also, have you thought of going to your local clubfitter and having him build you one?

Yeah I used that putter for close to two years. But I started to struggle and moved onto something else. I'd love to give it another shot, but my dad is addicted to it ever since he tried it out.

I know how you feel, I'm probably the worst putter on this forum.

I only average 32 putts, but It looks worse than that, 4-5 footers I can't make for my life.

Try Ebay. I recently bought a Mizuno T.P. Mills heel-shafted blade putter on there for less than $50.
Im personally not a fan of mallet putters either. To me, they just have no feel.

If you want insert putters, try out the Odyssey White Hot XG line. You can get most of them new for around $70 on ebay, which is where I got mine. If you are not comfortable and can afford to upgrade, do it. Trade in your putter and upgrade to something you think you can work better with. That's not to say you should buy a new putter every time you putt bad, but rather get one that you can be confident with to learn a proper stroke.

LOL. I don't. I traded mine for a Scotty. Most days I putt really good with it. Then there are those other days. Sometimes I want to throw my Scotty into a lake but I can't. It cost too much. My only consolation is knowing that on the days when I putt badly it's my fault and not the putter.

Alright, ive had worse putting woes than Dent, i was just throwing away my entire round on the green. I have a scotty cameron, and i was about to buy a new putter, but the pro at my course recommened something to me. Look at the superstroke putting system, i got it and i went from averergaing 29-38 putts for a round to about 24-30 putts for the round. Im lights out now from inside 15 feet. I love this grip, it looks weird and it doesnt fit in your bag, but i dont care because i putt like a pro.

haha, its not that I miss many putts, but my misses look good awful. Maybe one day my friend will get a hidden camera and watch me putt.

My playing buddy is about your handicap. He is a better putter than me (as you are). His 4ft to 5ft putts arise because he is too bold on his birdie putt (and our greens are slow and a bit unreproducible from hole to hole). But he is good at this length and normally makes. He achieved this by going to a long putter, it solved his short putt problem. I think the long putter also makes his approach putt speed a little less controllable. I make my living by lagging inside this length (because I suck), but as a consequence I rarely birdie when given the opportunity.

Sounds so much like me its almost scary. I attack the hole most of the time and our greens are slippery fast.

I have used putters for a long time and I think that they are the best bar none. The other day I had four 1-putt holes out of 9 holes.
