i was wondering whether or not anyone has two drivers that they consistantly use. i have a tour burner and i really like it, but a friend of mine got the nike sasquatch 5900 tour edition, and i hit it so straight. I am looking for one on ebay at a decent price, but im not sure if i want to trade my tour burner, especially since its only 6 months old. Does anyone else have multiple drivers that they switch periodically? I am a serious high school golfer who plays multiple courses, i hit a a slight draw with my tour burner, but i dont hit it as straight as the 5900 tour one.

Stick with one. Pick the ONE that you want, and work with it. Switching it out will give you an excuse for playing terrible one day, and you will blame it all on your driver rather than your swing. And I would stick with the tour burner. That's a great club and there's no reason you should be switching it out because you are playing a slight draw. Unless it's an offset, I'd be willing to bet you are experiencing that "superior" feeling you have when using a friends club. Everyone knows that the first few shots with a friends club are amazing!

Keep yours, and don't carry two. Or if it's necessary get the other, but DON'T carry 2.

I believe it's always better to become proficient (thru' practice) with the clubs you play than to keep switching between clubs. Switch clubs only if the one you use doesn't fit you properly.

I have 2 drivers... and I think its a good idea... here is why.

The driver I carry most of the time is a 9* driver. I live in Florida so fairways are mostly dry and hard so I like to play alot of roll off my tee shots.

I also have a 10.5* driver that I use during wetter conditions because I lose my roll... I need to rely on the carry. It doesnt get used a whole lot but it is nice to have during and after a weeks worth of hurricane rain.

Its personal preference I guess.

I think you are better off carrying 2 putters. One for short putts and another for lag putts of distance rather than carrying 2 drivers.

Is that an aftermarket 60g Rombax shaft? Here's what you can do: buy the nike sasquatch and sell me your tour burner. =)

IMO, "no"; I'd suggest a strong 3w like maybe a MacGergor NVG2 12.5* 3w. Most strong 3w are in the range of 13-14*. The NVG2 has pretty much the same head technology as the Tour Exotic and they are comparitively easy to hit and definetly less expensive.

I don't think it is a good idea. I think it's best to build confidence and consistancy with one "play club" - your main tee club. This is why a don't carry a 3 wood (plus I can't deck one). Whether you hit low, high, draw or fade its a good feeling on the tee to know what your ball is about to do. Then if you need a staighter shot on the tight holes and dogleg rights pull your 3 wood out. Pick a driver and stick with it until technology absolutely passes it by.

I'd rather have two putters. You use the full swing on a driver, changing clubs will confuse you. Having two putters is not a bad idea. Changing putter is often necessary just for the sake of it. Buying a new club may not be the solution. If you have two putters and change after some time, you can get the sort of new feeling and actually hitting better.
