I just searched and looked through about 80 threads and was surprised that no one had made this thread before. What is your favorite golf course that you have played? Mine is The Dunes Golf and Beach Club in Myrtle Beach. Beautiful conditions, great design, and spectacular greens.

I've not played many courses, pretty sad really.

I love to travel but my clubs have only made a oneway trip from the UK to the US with me so far!

I haven't played at many upscale golf courses but I would say Riverview Golf Course in Easton, PA and Whitetail Golf Course in Bath, PA are the two nicest that I have played at.

Now that am I down here in Blacksburg, I would like to play some of the local courses. I have been going to the Virginia Tech Golf Course which is nothing a fancy, but would really like to try the Pete Dye River Course. It won a few awards by Golf Digest after its renovation and is home to the Tech golf team since its renovation. The Virginia Tech Golf Course use to be 18 holes until they built a hotel on half of it, so the team was in need of a new course.

I think i may have to change my answer to Turner Hill. I just played their with my golf team and it is ridiculous. Just look at its club house...

Augusta National is hands down my favorite, even if I can't play it. As far as playable courses, Harbour Towne Golf Links on Hilton Head Island.

      There are so many videos comparing and contrasting everything that I am both overwhelmed and more than a bit skeptical. Your comments above are much more valuable than hours of you-tube videos. Generally speaking, I’d much prefer to read something that someone took the time and trouble to write (such as your comments) than a bunch of videos, or worse, meaningless reviews that seem like they are all cut and paste selections of the same script. I’m more of a RTFM type than a watcher of “instructional” videos. By way of explanation, I don’t watch TV either.  So thanks - I’ll take that under advisement. I have an H3 that I bought for $10 that I’ve been carrying around but not sure why. Seems like a cool club, but I just don’t really know what to do with it.

      I was using the window as a mirror. Just trying to be a more aware of the feels for a better backswing. Trying to not be as closed from A1 to A2. Then not letting the club head flip inside. What I was feeling was a pressure my right wrist, and like the palm of my right hand was pushing upward against the grip of the club. My right hand was the underside of the swing path.  Going to play around with this a bit more. It looked pretty decent with mirror/window work. Just wanted to jot it down.
