I just purchased a 906f2 regular shaft 3 wood, and I want to know how easy it is to hit of the deck. I hit the ball low, but my good drives get to 285 or so, when they get decent height. I hit a pitching wedge about 145-150 and play stiff shafts in my irons if that matters, but i bought a regular wood because I've had problems getting woods of the ground, even with slightly whippier shafts. So i know this club has a large face, but is it larger than say an X-hot? A friend has one and i thought the face height wasn't bad, but it wasn't as shallow as i like with my R7. Also how do i post my bag in my sig like everyone i can't find that. Sorry for the novel, thanks for the help.

I'm surprised that, as a 6.2, you bought a club with a regular flex shaft when you hit your pitching wedge farther than the pros, that you bought it seemingly without testing it or even doing a little research on it, and that you bought it now with the 909s on the way so soon.

A stiff (or x-stiff) shaft with a lower flex point and the 906F4 would have probably suited you better... and in a few weeks when their price drops.

Hah well no offense to my game, I'm an average 6.2, like i can shoot 85 then 76 and stuff like that iacas, I'm not one of those guys that drills out 78s all the time, but still idk. I do hit my PW 145-150, Idk i naturally hit irons far with a little draw, idk. And while i make my PW suck back a little, i don't hit it nearly as high as the pros do. I just got such a great deal on mine that i thought i had to take it, seeing as my club funds are limited after my recent d2 purchase, that i love. I was wondering how your f2 with v2 stiff seems? I had a v2 regular and it seemed to play like most stiffs? Like it, hate it?

I wrote a review of the 906F2 and F4. My thoughts are contained there. I'd find the link for you, but I'm a bit busy live blogging at the moment.

OK i found it, looks great!!!!! Eased my worries, i expected the face height to be higher, people were saying it was huge, when that's hardly any bigger than an r7/xtour. Thanks!

as long as its not so big you have to take an iron divot to hit it, I'm good, so iacas if the ball is sitting up on the fairway, is it like even with the sweet spot?

I would say though, to really hit the club the proper trajectory, you should be fairly confident with taking a light divot, it's what i do, and if you can't/won't do that, I doubt the ball will get off the ground much.

I got the 906 F4 with a stiff shaft and absolutely love it. Especially off the fairway or rough, I just bring the club down on the ball and it takes off. I usually take a divot with it from the fairway, I hit down on the ball to prevent from skulling it.

I'm actually better with it off the fairway than I am from the tee for some reason. I may have been tee'ing it too high some times and really sending it sky-high, not losing too much distance though.

I've got the 906F2 13* with the stiff Aldila Proto 85s shaft. No problem getting airborne off the deck. No divot needed. This thing hits long (260-285) from the fairway. Perfect trajectory.

Yeah, after my teams last tournament on saturday, our bus was wayy late, so we were taking a bunch of balls from the range, there was a green like 255 out, and i was drilling shots to it with my 3 wood off the deck. I was impressed, glad to hear so many people like the titleist clubs, i love every one of them i own, and might consider ap2s, i was eyeing those rac TP Mbs though.
