With the cost of flying and extra fees for taking your clubs. Does anyone make two golf bags that will fit side by side in a hard travel case or a golf glove case?

Most airlines specify as to what is allowed to be packed into a golf travel bag. i.e. 14 clubs, 12 balls, 1 pair of shoes..etc.

I'm not sure what they actually do if you choose not to follow this though.

I dont see them following up on that...

I seal my bags with plastic ties, I think if you had a large Club Glove bag two sets carried in sunday bags would fit

I just flew Southwest with my clubs a couple weeks ago. They still give you two checked bags for free... So if it's you and a spouse/friend flying, you should have no problem with two suitcases and two golf bags/cases.... If you fly them that is

Like has been said before, I think weight is the bigger issue. You may get away with it, but be prepared to pay if not.

I'd be careful about sealing up bags, for international flights you are usually told not to do this, in case security fancy a look. Not sure about domestic flights.

No lock or wire tie will keep TSA out if they want to look but if you use TSA approved locks there will be a better chance that they will replace them after a search.

Obviously security will look if they want to no matter what.
I was more saying for the protection of your bag I wouldn't seal it.

Remember the TSA is only the authority in the US. So when you arrive at or depart another country, TSA approved means nothing!

That's exactly why I just use zip-ties on my luggage - discourage casual thieves, but TSA (or other security) can cut them off if they want to get in. I try to find unusual colors so I can tell right away if someone has been in my bag and has cut off the zip tie. I carry extras in case I get directed to the pre-boarding (i.e., stand-there-while-they-look-through-your underwear) inspection and have to cut the tag off myself.

Agreed, though I travel to Mexico on business often and the TSA locks were accommodated there on a couple of occasions (or it was just luck).
