Nope.

I find it too big to use as a ball marker and I generally don't use alignment lines on balls when I putt.

Huh? Everyone has "some" skill at reading greens.

So I'm going to try to figure out what you're saying. Let's start by inverting it: It's useful if you have some skill at reading greens. Nope, still makes no sense, because again everyone has "some skill." Nobody is completely skill-less there. Let's assume, then, that you mean "a lot of skill" or simply that someone "is skilled" (i.e. better than average): It's useful if you are skilled at reading greens. If that's what you're saying, I agree. I almost never, ever, ever make a putt when my ball is lined up improperly. I take great care in lining my ball up (which is not to say I'm slow - I take great care quickly ) because it matters. My speed has always been very good, so whether I miss or make is all about luck and whether I start the ball on the right line.

Has absolutely nothing to do with reading greens. It is simply an alignment aid. With that being said, I am an extremely linear person, and I like it. Have had mine since the original CC meeting/release.

Iacas,

If you want one and are not a club cameron member, the next time they are available (probably next release) I will buy one and you can paypal me. Let me know if your interested.

You don't have to be a Cameron Club member to buy 'em, and I have a few on the way. Thanks for the offer.

No I have not seen those or seen anyone actually using them on the course. Seems like a good idea.

Its funny that his ball tools are almost as much as some of the name brand putters!!

What I was trying to say if you're problems revolve around reading greens, breaks, speed, and contours and not simply a body allignment issue this small tool will only make your misreads even more accurate!

it looks good though

I don't know what you're saying except it seems like I disagree. This tool isn't about helping you to read greens at all.

To use the tool I think you have to be decent (or better than average) at reading greens as well as decent (or better than average) at starting the ball on the chosen line, too. It's not a training aid. It's something that will help a golfer who reads greens well and putts reasonably well perform a little bit better.

YOU'RE SPOT ON... that is the intended market

but they will sell many of these to golfers who expect that it will help them putt better but they would be better off spending 44 bucks on a short game lesson. it's definitely a usefull tool if you already a skillfull putter
