You're from Boston... You sure you're able to separate the Cheatriots losing from the quality of the game?

Not sure I can, although I would never refer to my vaunted Patriots in such a derogatory way!

I can't believe the Steelers won. I hate them, they're so dirty. Especially James Harrison.

Not sure if you saw him punching that Cardinal in the back for his "blocking" ability. They threw a flag for unnecessary roughness thank God especially since the play was already over. What a d*ck.

The Steelers got 2 rings this decade, but last time I checked I think that the Pat's have 3. I could be wrong.

Wow! Get a grip!

Yeah...Pats have 3. Who cares? You're talking smack about how the Steelers are dirty???? Then brag about the Pats winning 3 and admittedly cheated to do so. Give me a break. BTW - not sure how much you saw but before calling James Harrison dirty and saying he can't block....take a look at how that player took a shot at his knees. Now that is dirty.

The guy went after his knees and deserved everything Harrison doled out after that. You do realize, too, guy is playing football and is thus wearing pads, a helmet, etc. right?

Call it like you see it, but that's how I saw it. I'm not gonna be a sheep and just parrot whatever John Madden - who's hated the Steelers since the Immaculate Reception - says.

And likely cheated to get every one of 'em... One of which was against the same Kurt Warner, who - among others - were among the first to allege cheating.

We're familiar with the "genius" of Bill Belichek. He was no genius in Cleveland.

I think I may have just figured out why Madden bothers me so much thanks to you. I've never had much idea why.....

I loved it when that one "announcer" said that the game was getting a little chippy!

I'll tell you why it was getting chippy.

The upstart Super Bowl ROOKIE Cardinal players kept running their mouths!

Against a veteran SIX TIME Super Bowl Championship team, the Steelers were only going to take that crap for so long. It's a 'Burgh thang. You're losing the game, and you keep running your mouth! Well guess what? You're gonna get punched in the mouth! The refs and the camera man always get the SECOND guy...

The Cardinals played VERY well, and I was surprised how good their team really is. I know it was their first time and all that. But like the old saying goes...

"Act like you've been there before"!

I would tend to agree with most of this. It seemed like early on the Card's were getting frustrated when they couldn't get things going as they would have liked, but i would also say that the retaliation only began to come once pitt got down, and things werent looking as great...

    • Probably since the golfer has to swing the club back and up. The hands have to move back and up. You can feel them go back and up just by turning the shoulders and bending the right arm, because it brings your hands towards your right shoulder.  The difference is if you maintain width or not. Less width means a shorter feeling swing path so the more you need to lift the arms. Being as someone who gets the right arm bend at 110+ degrees, it's 100% a timing issue. I am use to like a 1.5+ second backswing. It probably should be like 1 second at most. Half a second or more will feel like an eternity. I have had swings where I keep my right arm straighter and I am still trying to time the downswing based on the old tempo.  Ideally, for me, it is probably going to be a much quicker and shorter (in duration) backswing, while keeping the right elbow straighter. Which also means more hinging to get swing length without over swinging.

    • I'm currently recuperating from surgery, so no golf, but have been thinking about this quite a bit. This and the don't overbend the right arm thing. It's hard for me to even pose the position, so I'm not 100% sure, but I feel like it's impossible to have the right humerus along the shirt seam and not overbend your right arm, unless your hands are down near your hips. If the left arm is up at or above the shoulder plane and your right arm is bent less than 90 degrees, then your right humerus has to raise or your hands will get pulled apart. Your left hand can't reach your right hand unless either the right upper arm is up or the right arm is overbent. Is that right? If it is, then focusing on not overbending the right arm would force you to raise the humerus. And actually thinking further on it, if you do overbend your right arm, then you're basically forcing your upper arm down or forcing your left arm to bend. Since (for me at least) bending the left arm too much is not something I think I need to worry about, it means that the bend in the trail arm is really the driving force behind what happens to the right humerus.
    • I managed to knock off a 3, a 13, and a 15 a couple of weeks ago. The 3 was a 185 yard par 3 with a 6 iron to 12 feet. 13 was a 350 yard par 4, which was a 2 iron and a 9 iron to about a foot. 15 was a 560 yard par 5 with a driver in a bunker, 4 iron into the semi, gap wedge to 8 feet and a putt.
