Edit: That course he is playing at is a beast, very tricky. The course ratings are even a little lower than it plays. Its like 72/123, but it's probably harder than the 73/127 i just played.

Check out age group 12, Ben Doyle 8th place. He was the winner as a 7 and 11 year old. As a 7 year old he broke Mickelson's scoring record. In the 6 and under group Eric Doyle, Ben's cousin finished 32nd. He is only 4. I'm their proud uncle.

Cool cubdog. How exceptional! I wonder how many strokes these little guys and gals will shave as they get older, even as they presumably continue to play longer tees. Or have they reached their peak (higher than many of us will ever reach) at their young age? While interesting, none of that really matters as long as they continue to enjoy the game.

There are some amazing kids out there these days. I know one of them... Braden Bozak is the grandson of my former boss. He even has his own website. He's getting instruction from one of the top junior instructors in the country now, and he hit the national scene on Good Morning America when he was 2-1/2 (he's all of 4 now ).
