I have them and will be writing a review of them for publication next Friday. They're... I don't know. I'd call them basically the equivalent of the Titleist 695.CB.

I just got them this week, with brand new rifle 5.6 shafts. I love them, but they are not easy to hit. I play to a 6.7 handicap and will once in a while hit a thin type shot. When you hit them well though, they are the most crisp irons I have ever tried. As you come through the ball they feel beautiful, like you never even touched the ball. High trajectory, good spin, and beautifully workablility. I completely recommend them if you think you are a good enough iron player

When I bought my MP-57 irons last December, I also tried the MP-52, MP-62, and MP-67 to see which I preferred. I hit the MP-52 significantly higher than the others 9something I was trying to stay away from), so thsoe were out of the question. I tried the MP-67 just for the hell of it, but unless I was on teh sweet spot they felt like absolute crap. I wanted somethign with forgiveness and workability, so it was between the MP-57 and MP-62. I ended up going with the MP-57 mainly because they were a bit more forgiving but with from what I could tell a comparable amount of workability.

In my opinion, you can't go wrong with any of hte MP irons. All you need to do is go hit all of them and see which set you liek the best.

Hi

I have just bought the new MP62s
I have had MP30s dor some time

got the same S300 shafts... but they seem less buttery
the 4 and 5 iron in particular seem less easy to launch than the MP30s
I felt both sets together and it seems that the old S300shafts are slightlysofter...

does anyone know if these shafts soften with age or indeed if there has been a change in spec

    • A bit of a struggle today.  Just some thoughts/musings.  For the backswing, it is like I am never going to be moving on from this. I don't know if I can ever get to the point where the backswing isn't like over 1.5 seconds in duration. Which is probably not ideal. I would like to get to the point where I can just fling the arms back and up.  I have to feel like my hands are going to hit my right thigh from P1 to P2. If not then they like to move 2-5 inches towards the ball from P1 to P2. Then it's just bad from there. This feeling is my hands not gaining much depth, just maintaining depth from set up. From the DTL view, the hands head towards the camera.  While I am doing that, hinge the crap out of the club with my wrist only. Hinge in a way that the club is pointing at the camera at P2.  From P2, lift the hands straight up. I can get here, and still roll the club inside and get it way too shallow.  With the downswing. There isn't much here. I still can't get the flow of this or the sequencing of this to line up. It doesn't help that hinging from P1 to P2 just throws off my entire timing as well.
