Hello all. I am looking at getting some new wedges in 09. Thinking im going to get the new Vokeys but cant decide on the lofts. So any input on the lofts would be greatly appreciated. Any ideas on bounce would be appreciated to. Thanks

go with a 4 degree apart setup so 48 52 56 60 or 46 50 54 58 that way it keeps them normally 10 yards apart

i like the 54 and 60 combo, but its really all personal preference. I know people that try to keep 4 degree gaps between there wedges(48,52,56,60) but i think that is a little excessive. half of the game is learning to improvise ans not go full swing on all shots, so the 54 60 setup helps me do that.

I am sooooo sorry I made this twice without a poll. I cant delete it now so im very sorry. If someone(administrator) could delete this 1 I would really appreciate it. Once again i am sooooo sorry

go with a 4degree gap. i go 52, 56, and 60. i like a bounce of 12 in my 52, 12 and my 56 and then between a 6 and an 8 in my 60* because it comes in handy in tough and tightlies. its also better for flop shots like that.

digger=higher bounce
sweeper=lower bounce

fyi, the vokey sm have many bounce options, i would look on the titleist website to find the best bounce for you.

talk to your pro about your swing. Do you pick your ball, do you pinch your ball? That will decide what bounce will work best for you. How far do you hit your pitching wedge? find a loft that will land you 10 yards less than your Pwedge. usually a 50. then go about 4 degrees every wedge down. 50, 54, 58. 50, 56, 60 is what I play with in the Cleveland CG12 zip grooves. great clubs
According to your sig, you will be carrying 15 clubs after you recieve the 5 wood. I would keep the same number of wedges so you do have 16 clubs. This would force you to remove only one club if you are playing in a tourney or whatever.
The answer to you question depends on your golf game. If you use the 52 on a lot of full shots, I would buy another 52. This way you do not need to learn to hit your PW varying distances (i.e. Full PW=125 and you are 115). However, if you use your PW mostly (even on 3/4 shots) then you probably do not need the 52. In that case, I would buy a 54 and 58. Both can get you out of the sand, can help around the greens, and if you open the 58, you won't need a 60.
