Has anyone experience with the Bushnell Rangefinders manufactured specifically for golf? If so, what is the difference between the #1500 Tournament Edition and the regular #1500. Also I understand there is a model which provides slope information. Is that model permitted for use in a round in which the score is used for handicap purposes? Thanks.

You cannot use the one with slope. I think you can in handicap rounds, but it's worthless. Don't go for it.

I have the pro version good up to 800 yds supposedly.Its good for a flag at 200 but for par 3's I love it.

I just received, this evening, a 1500 Tournament Edition as a Chanuka gift from my three daughters, aged 3, 7 and 9. The 9 year old plays a bit of golf and instigated the subterfuge necessary to find out about the rangefinder and arrange for her 7 year old sister to help pay for it from money earned from doing chores. The 3 year old, of course, went alomg for the ride. Needless to say, I swooned when presented this wonderful addition to my bag. I can't wait for the weather to break so that I can take it out for a test drive. Yippeeee!

      Day 3 (23 Jan 25) - Repeat of yesterday’s work per request of the grandson…more pitches and chips in the snow.  The snow had crusted slightly, so we got to hit off tight lies as well as fried egg lies. Love teaching him how to work thru and overcome less than optimal conditions.

      Can confirm. I lost like 80+ lbs in about 3 years after college. I was probably near the 300-lb range at some point in life. It is always very fast at the start.  You should take its as a % of your body weight. 5% of a 400-lb person is 20-lbs, 5% of a 180-lb person is 9-lbs.  Losing 20-lbs for a 400-lb person is healthy, but it might not be healthy for a 180-lb person.  It all depends how you are tracking things. I recommend weighting yourself at the same time every day or every other day. I like in the morning before you drink any water. Water weight is substantial. Like, 3-5 lbs can be lost during an hard workout. You can lose 3lbs of water weight over night through respiration.  As long as you are seeing a downward trend (negative slop) to the curve over a few months then what you are doing is working, even though you may gain weight one day but then lose weight over the next 3-4 days.
