Found good price on one of these wedges to replace my old 56 degree sand wedge. Are these wedges good? I am not a big spinner on the green if anything i just like a little check on a flop style shot other than that i like to let the ball run out to the hole.

I have the Rac Chrome and love them, I get excellent spin, I can suck a DT Solo back on a green, they don't cut balls. They're great!

I have a TaylorMade RAC 54 and 60. They are GREAT for chipping and pitching. Lots of control. Longer shots they are decent as well. The grooves are very good so they do impart a lot of spin. Easy to clean as well. I like TaylorMade wedges. I would invest.

so 50 bucks for the 56 degree would be a good idea then. Then i just have to locate a 50 degree and both my wedges would be replaced.

    • I enjoyed the A-B-C-D scramble we did at Kittyhawk before it shut down. Yes. The point was to meet the other members and get the season kicked off. Nobody took it too seriously. At least with that group, cheating wasn't a big issue.  As the D part of A-B-C-D, I enjoyed getting to play with one of the Association's top players. One year I played with the city champ. Man could he hit a ball.  It probably isn't something I'd want to do more than once a year, but it has its place.

    • This year the 2 person scramble at Garland was flighted after 36 holes.  The final 18 holes determined the winner.  This was more fair since most people really wouldn't know what flight they would be in.
