Found these wedges at a good price but they are refurbished. It says they are refurbished to like new. Do you think the grooves and everything are good or would you avoid these clubs?

If you dont want to shell out the $$$$ for a new one a refurb is probably good. Even if the grooves are bad you can use one of these http://groovesharpener.com/ it works great. I just got one for christmas and love it. Good luck.

      I enjoyed the A-B-C-D scramble we did at Kittyhawk before it shut down. Yes. The point was to meet the other members and get the season kicked off. Nobody took it too seriously. At least with that group, cheating wasn't a big issue.  As the D part of A-B-C-D, I enjoyed getting to play with one of the Association's top players. One year I played with the city champ. Man could he hit a ball.  It probably isn't something I'd want to do more than once a year, but it has its place.

      This year the 2 person scramble at Garland was flighted after 36 holes.  The final 18 holes determined the winner.  This was more fair since most people really wouldn't know what flight they would be in.
