Greetings ....

Something is brutally obvious as you watch this weekend's TV coverage of the Kraft-Nabisco (LPGA) and BellSouth (PGA) events.

And it is that CBS's B-Team should have been at Atlanta, and NBC's A-Team (albeit minus Mr. Miller) should have been at the Kraft-Nabisco.

Well, I agree that the Kraft - Nabisco was better golf entertainment. That having been said, all anyone was talking about at my club this morning was Mickelson's rounds, so I guess TV being a market-driven enterprise the BellSouth was still the "A" ticket...

I don't think I will ever find women's golf more fun to watch than men's. And from the TV ratings and purse sizes, I am definately not alone in my beliefs. (The winner of the Players received $1,440,000 the whole purse at the Nabisco only totaled $1,800,000) Mind you Gulbis, Creamer, Pressel, Wie and company have improved dramatically the overall appeal of the LPGA tour, but unfortunately when you strip away the cuties you still just have women chasing a pill around 6,200 yard golf courses. Although unlike before I will now watch the ladies play, but only if the men are not on. Now between the LPGA and the Champions tour I say BRING ON THE GALS!

      I wonder if that is why my home course basically have no stakes now.  Not even markers.  It’s completely up to golfers to remember what is OB and hazard and how things used to be marked.     Even in tournaments, there is no marking and certain areas are played differently by different golfers who either don’t know better or use it to their advantage funny reading thru this with courses that actually have markers

      Great post, thanks for the informaiton. I try to avoid adding salt to anything I eat. I tend to add pepper on to my meals as opposed to salt. And I am trying to eat as clean on possible. On golf day, I eat 3 eggs for breakfast (pepper NO salt) and a salad for lunch, with grilled chicken thigs (pepper, garlic, no salt). I have been trying to avoid processed food, but we all slip. I also should have mentioned that the electrolyte packet calls for mixing with 16 oz of water, however I mix in 32 oz of water, so I dilute the electrolyte powder.

      So if I read the news correctly, the PIF will not fund LIV after this season.  LIV is trying to find new funding and a number of players there are now asking about getting back to the Tour.    I am very, very concerned that Taylor Gooch will not have a place where he can make a jackass out of himself soon

      It is a known technique, similar to the armed forces box technique. They use a 4x4 , in through the nose and out through the mouth. I use it to go to sleep fairly often. It works for me
