Which line of putters do you like, AND WHY do you like them. I am hunting for a cheap one, (Ha , yea right) and need your help.
1) must be a blade type putter, no mallets
2) must be readily available, no "1 of 1000" type putters
Thanks
~Chris

The best is whichever suits you the most. Go to a store and try a few out. Take some of the balls that you use on the course as that makes a big difference with feel.

Also define cheap.

Agree. I don't think that any of them are "cheap." But that is my cheap taste. Although I do wish that I knew where to get one of those 1 of 1000. never found one but it would be a nice collector if I ever wanted to spend the money. Deff try to test one so you find out if it feels good to you. Don't want to spend that much money on something that doesn't feel worth anything in your hands. if you catch that drift.

Id vote for the Circa 62 #2. Good luck finding one cheap though. If you find one on Ebay for under $250 that isnt a fake, you did pretty well.

scotty cameron studio stainless newport beach...its basically the definition of class for a putter. I couldn't imagine a better putter, i also love mine because it has a sound slot which makes it sound amazing.

Try a Lux putter, they are really nice and run about 115 without any special grip or anything.

If you like the Circa 62 #2 try one of these. Has a 355g headweight compared to the SC's 330g and can be had NEW for about 40 bones. Never did like the light heads of the SC's don't know why he don't add a little weight. My FPM2 is 345g's

Yes, Cameron putters are expensive. However, there must be a reason that the world's best players consistently play these sticks. I do find it ridiculous that a particular stamping pattern can raise the value by 10 folds.

I personally like models with the Teryllium inserts. They're probably the best feeling putters I've ever tried. That and a Newport II head, makes for a great putter. Like others have said, it's really a personal choice. Try a few out, and perhaps Scottys aren't the best for you.
