I thought I had this scourge beaten with one of the "4 magic moves", but I don't.

Anyone have any advice for preventing the cupping of the left wrist at the top of the backswing?

Put a tongue depressor on the back side of your wrist, inside your glove, running along the top of the left wrist. Use a very light rubber band if needed to keep it in place. Don't get splinters -- swing easy until you will not put pressure on the tongue depressor.

Don't worry about a little cupping of the left wrist at the top with the four magic moves.

If you perform the early wrist break properly your left wrist should be a little cupped at the top. If you try to flatten the wrist at the top this will close the clubface too much and you will hit pulls or hooks. Hey, watch Freddy Couple at the top of his back swing, his left wrist is cupped!
