I just recently picked up a set of Titleist 660 Forged Blades at a play it again sports for $129. I am having a hard time finding anything out about them online, they either seem to be limited production or something, there isnt much out there on these. Does anyone play these or know anything of them? They are a great feeling club and are also my first blade. The only thing that I have found is that they retailed for around $1100 in 2006. There didnt seem to be much hype though. Anyways, did I waste my money or did I score?

If they are not a pile of rust, I think you scored.

They look great and according to Titleist homepage, the MSRP is $135 per iron.

Sounds like a great deal, if they work for you and your game.

You sure won't go wrong in trying them at that price! Heck, if they don't work for you, I'd bet you could get rid of them at a modest profit on ebay.

    • Ah.. my regular weekend league. Lol Scrambles are fine. Usually there's charity involved. So there's that. There are much worse events Im forced to attend twice a year.
    • Does Justin Thomas have a massively underrated short game? It seems every time I look up he's hitting it close from a tough lie after short siding himself. What masterful touch
    • I freaking hate them. Too expensive, cheaters, food sucks, too dependent on weather, I keep telling myself never do it again but I'm a dummy
    • I enjoyed the A-B-C-D scramble we did at Kittyhawk before it shut down. Yes. The point was to meet the other members and get the season kicked off. Nobody took it too seriously. At least with that group, cheating wasn't a big issue.  As the D part of A-B-C-D, I enjoyed getting to play with one of the Association's top players. One year I played with the city champ. Man could he hit a ball.  It probably isn't something I'd want to do more than once a year, but it has its place.
