I have been a Freddy fan since I can remember; too bad he pushed his second on 18. Meh!

If this is what you're thinking about, it was a hole out on a Par 5, not a Par 3, and while the shots were on the same hole, Pavin and Couples weren't in the same group. Still pretty impressive stuff.

Just an additional comment about the "little bulldog"---Corey Pavin: that 4 wood second shot he hit to the last green at Shinnecock to win the 1995 US Open has to be one of the greatest shots ever hit on the last hole of a Major to enable the player to win the Championship.
