I really don't know how a club can justify as nice looking, but I think mine look pretty sweet/different...

no, they don't. IMO a club is pretty when it doesn't look gaudy, big, like a shovel. I believe yours meet all the criteria of an ugly club.

LOL, well said.

I believe that my irons are beautiful, however, I will give the "pretty" knod to the Miuras blades and Titleists 695 mb.

Those are very pretty. How do they play?

They'll be delivered this week and I'm heading to Orlando Saturday so I'll find out next week how they play.

Come on Mizuno people! He asked what are the best looking set of irons. Are you honestly telling me that there is no set, in ALL the world, prettier than any club made by Mizuno. Why not list the MX-100s? They're from Mizuno. Doesn't that make them the prettiest?

The MP line is a very classic, simple design. I believe that is what draws people to the irons. Too many inserts, bright colors in many OEM irons that make them look 'cheap'...

LOL, i have to agree with Norm3333. those arent even close to being one of the best looking sets of irons, sorry...

I think that the Mizuno aficionados feel slighted by the limited use these clubs get on tour & tend to overcompensate for that. I have a set myself & really do like that double chrome plating, the feel, etc.

Like you, I’m not a big fan of gushing. I bet even the posters are looking at their words with a little regret – at least I hope so. Either way, it’s not a life & death issue.

    • Interesting changes. The idea of relegation and promotion have always been there in a different form (getting and losing your card etc and qualifying for bigger events) but it looks like they want to define it better for top tier events. The Tour has always had A and B level events (and even lower). It will be interesting what they choose as the Challenger Series events and whether some tournaments go to the Challenger Series that used to be prestigious. Not sure how the networks will take to this knowing they have “Challenger” Series events defined that way now. Also, I’m not happy that John Henry and Theo Epstein are involved. Look what Henry has done to the Red Sox.

    • I have been debating getting a launch monitor of some sort, if only so I can re-figure my shot zones (I haven't actually mapped them in years) and also to practice distance wedges at home.  I have to see if this works with either my current setup, or what my setup would be if I move it to the garage.
    • Day 48, June 23.  After work today, I took 25 minutes in my practice room;  6-iron, same everything as yesterday except the time and count.
    • Well, this is interesting.  I think we discovered a few months ago that I haven't been following professional golf in a while (my confusion about Scotty's footwork confirmed that), so at least as I aim to follow a bit more I'll get something new to learn with all of you.  My very quick read of Erik's summary makes me think this new Challenger series fits somewhere between Korn Ferry and the Championship (not Champions, but I know I'm going to make that mistake a few times if I'm not careful!).   My recollection is that there were already second-tier events among the PGA Tour;  the Bob Hope didn't have the same quality of field as the event at Riviera (whose current name I forget, although now that I say that, I realize the Palm Springs event hasn't been called the Bob Hope in a few years either).   With the absence of the FedEx (if I'm reading that correctly), does that mean no more FedEx Cup at all? Hopefully I'll have time later in 2026 to sit down and see what we're in for in 2027, where one of my goals already is to follow more professional golf.
