I was looking on royal precision's site and was shocked to see the copyright for true temper on the bottom of the page. I'm shocked, I assume that means true temper owns RP.

Looks like it happened a couple of years ago. Here was something I found:

I don't think that means that the products are the SAME, just that True Temper makes money no matter what you buy.

Right it just like Cleveland and Srixon. Srixon owns cleveland but their clubs are different and all the money goes to Srixon.

Royal Precision was not doing well and true temper went ahead and bought them out, but True Temper is keeping the Royal Precision name on the shafts and continues to produce the same quality, but under a different ownership name.

    • Ah.. my regular weekend league. Lol Scrambles are fine. Usually there's charity involved. So there's that. There are much worse events Im forced to attend twice a year.
    • Does Justin Thomas have a massively underrated short game? It seems every time I look up he's hitting it close from a tough lie after short siding himself. What masterful touch
    • I freaking hate them. Too expensive, cheaters, food sucks, too dependent on weather, I keep telling myself never do it again but I'm a dummy
    • I enjoyed the A-B-C-D scramble we did at Kittyhawk before it shut down. Yes. The point was to meet the other members and get the season kicked off. Nobody took it too seriously. At least with that group, cheating wasn't a big issue.  As the D part of A-B-C-D, I enjoyed getting to play with one of the Association's top players. One year I played with the city champ. Man could he hit a ball.  It probably isn't something I'd want to do more than once a year, but it has its place.
