Which Vokey finish do you prefer and why?

I am considering replacing my Cleveland Wedges with Vokeys. I know for sure that I would go with a 60.04 and the 54.11 but I am torn on what finish to go with. For those of you that are playing the new Vokeys, which finish do you prefer: standard, oil can, or black nickel?

PP, it doesn't make any difference what everyone else plays. They're all great finishes. Get the one that appeals to you the most. Since you asked, I prefer the oil can myself.

My only concern is the ware. I got the black nickel one in a Cleveland wedge a number of years ago and the wear on it was odd to say the least. I love hitting shots out of the sand so the club started to look a little like half standard and half black nickel. I currently play RTG and enjoy those but I am open to something new.

I voted Black Nickel. I have an Oil Can 56* and stripped the finish off for a raw look. It's got no glare and hasn't rusted either. However, I think the Black Nickel finish looks very elegant and my next wedges will surely be in this finish.

I like chrome because its a more protective finish that reduces wear and keeps the grooves sharp for longer.
The longer the grooves last, the more spin I get and the less often I have to buy new wedges.
Last year I had a Vokey 56* in oilcan finish and I hated it. It made the club look like I found it at a garage sale and had been sitting out in the rain or at the bottom of a lake for years.

I have 2 vokeys in th black ni finish and one in the oil can finish, but i'd say that i prefer the tour chrome. I've played about 3 rounds with the wedges, and rust spots are starting to appear on the face :\

Black Nickel or Tour Chrome. I'll probably buy the chrome 56/14 and 60/07 for this season.

Black nickel or standard for me. I personally dont like the oil can look.

I have a couple of older chrome finishes and they are fine, but do reflect the sun a tad. Of the new ones I do like the black nickel and will probably get that finsih next time I can justify getting new wedges.

i like the oil can personnally, 1) i prefer something darker that doesn't glare when the sun is in the right place, 2) i've never tried the black nickel so i dont know about that version

I went chrome simply to keep the look consistent with my other clubs.

Black is my favorite color, so yeah, black nickel all the way.
