I know that Tour Edge Exotics has one, but I'm looking for other options before settling on that. I have an 8.5* Driver (270 yds) 13* TM Burner TS (240ish) and a 20* Nickent hybrid (210 max) and need something to fit in between there. I have a 17* Nickent, but for some reason I just don't hit it consistently enough and can't really push it into that 225-230 range, but a 4 wood should do just right.

Anyone have any recommendations in that range? Does anyone make a 5+? Only one I know of is the TM Burner T5.

Cleveland Launcher, PING G10, Nike DYMO, Taylor Made R9, Mizuno F-60, and PING Rapture (original - 5W is 17*). I think they are all 17* which is a 4 wood or 5+.

Ping G10 4-wood

This has been the only one I've owned.

It's a handy stick.....head size was about the same as the their 3wood. I ordered mine with a longer shaft. 17 degrees makes for a handy fairway stick that eats up distance....although I'm not currently hitting mine off the deck as well as I want to. It's a wonderful club off the tee on tight / short / dogleg holes.

I know the new Nike Dymo has a 4 wood available in the square headed version and the round. They are a nice size. A 4 wood is going to be marked in different ways. It's going to be a 16.5-18* club in most cases.

ive been thinking about ditching my 3 wood and 5 wood and getting a 16º 4 wood too. the new Nike Dymo's are great and very tempting

I would say you should definately try and hit the Ping Rapture 2. Its 17.5 degrees and has one of the best feels I have ever played with. Their 3 wood is also 16 degrees as well.

That would be the one that I tested out first. I can't wait to hit one of the Dymo drivers, too.

The Callaway FT series offers a 4 wood.

These things are sweet! The ball jumps off the clubface with a sharp ting of my 3 wood (and the FT 2 Hybrid I have ). Great feeling clubs.

Just ordered that 4 wood...should have it for this weekend. Seemed like the best one I tried, or at least it worked for me.

I love it. It's only one degree stronger than my old 5 wood, but the shaft lets me launch it a bit higher and I'm getting more carry.

Now I can follow my plan of replacing my 3w 5w combo with this 4 wood and adding a 3h or extreme lob wedge when I need. this 4 callaway 4w ft is great off the tee and fantastic off the turf.
