I went into my local golf store today to buy a new golf towel and ended up walking out with a new 3 wood and no towel...:P

Man, I feel pretty slow...Lol. For a second, I thought you stole it...haha. I hope that doesn't happen to me although I see it coming soon. There's one store that I go to where I always have to buy a glove or a sleeve of balls when I visit because the owner is so kind...

i went into golf galaxy last week intent on buying some tees... saw a putter there in the used area going for 20 bucks... i almost got it... hahaha

I've never had an impulse buy like that before but have used the stalls far longer than I should have when I was too lazy to go to the range... usually only happens when it rains. I can see how that can happen though... it's like bringing home a lost puppy from the pound.

Never happened... every club purchase I have ever made I have seen comming. However, gloves, shoes, and a few other things occaisionally get taken home accidently.

I have also left home with the intention of going someplace (work, etc.) and ended up at the golf course playing golf.

Yep.. Just on Thursday evening hand intentions of walking into Dick's Sporting Goods to see what GPS's they had ..and couldn't help to notice they had the Nike 5900 for $199, with the free fairway wood deal going on..

So.. GPS was not even a second thought after I walked out with a Nike Sumo2 driver and FW wood :P

That is one of the best deals I've ever heard of. I love that driver. I demoed one at Dicks and had to pry it loose and put it back. The fairway wood is what I loved even more!!!!! That was what I went in to look at. They didn't have the exact one I was looking for....but man what a deal.

Good luck with the new sticks. As for the OP.....I have done the same with putters. I went to the store to buy balls, tees and gloves....but had some time to kill.......bad thing to do in a golf shop.....I gravitated over to the putters and saw one I couldn't live without. This was several years ago. Now I'm much more patient and try many different shaft options.

I have to have 50 golf towels, I have never bought one and I don't know where they came from... Funny thing is that I rotate between about 4 or 5 of them, the other 45 stay on the bottom of the pile. Last week, my brother in law went to the dealer for an oil change and came home with a new car.

you made a really good decision dude. I love mine, its such an awesome club, however i think i might replace the voodoo with a v2 85g. Not sure yet.

Like when I walked into Dicks Sporting Goods about 30 minutes ago to get a new hat (left mine at home) and saw that they were marking last years Nike One Platinum balls down to $15 a dozen and bought 10 boxes. Yeah, it happens.
