I wanted to know if anyone has played these and liked/disliked them. I am thinking about pulling the trigger on these but i wanted to get some feedback first. I have around 115 SS, so if anyone with high SS has tried these, I would love to hear about it. Thanks!

I have tried the new range of One balls. They are pretty good but not exceptional (for me). They have a nice feel but I couldn't get them to check up on the green as well as a Pro V1 or Callaway tour (from 50 yrds in). I noticed the vapor was shorter with my iron shots by around 5 yards (compared to the tour/d) which was surprising. So to sum up I will not be stocking up on them which is a shame because I really wanted to like these balls.

i was given a sleeve of these last week and i actually liked them. they felt good off the tee and stopped on the green. they arent the greatest ball in the world, but they are nowhere even near the worst either. i still like the Bridgestone e5+, and RX better though. but again, its a good ball...btw, my driver SS is nowhere near 115mph (its around 100mph)

I like this ball alot, not very durable if you're an attacker, but I got tremendous amounts of spin on the ball. The first course I played on with it was TPC Louisiana and I thought it actually spun too much. (Can't believe I said that). If you're not worried about distance, I'd say go for it, the new pro V1 is just as good as the old one, it all comes down to preference and placebo effect

I bought a box of these a month or so ago and really liked them. I used to play the Nike One Black/Platinum (depending on my mood which one I would buy), and the One Tour seems like a good combo of the old Black and Platinum. You get all the feel and spin of the Platinum but the additional yardage of the Black. The only downside is that my wedge shots would absolutely eat the cover up. Right now I'm playing the Srixon Z-Star and am extremely impressed. You might want to check those out as well.

  • 1 month later...
I just bought a sleeve of the One Tour. Personally I like the last model of One Platinum's much better. Maybe my swing was just off or the greens were harder than usual but I could not get these balls to check up on the greens at all. I will say with my irons the distance may have been a little better. But off the driver I'd say I lost a few yards. Again given how I didn't score today it was probably more down to my swing than the ball.

    • Day 120 - Played 18; much better than yesterday. Miss right now is off the heel of the club, so I need to sort that out.
    • Today we played Pease Golf Course in Portsmouth, NH. Course was in great shape but my game didn't show up. I will say I pitched and chipped fairly well but almost everything else was very hit or miss. Cost myself a lot hitting an in play drive with pulling my approach shots maybe 85% of the time. Finally figured out I had been swaying most of the round. Only took me until 13 to figure it out. Used what felt like a much more centered turn and the ballstriking improved. 18 tomorrow using a 2 man scramble format. Just looking to contribute. Been a blast though.
    • Day 22: Hit balls with 7-iron using mevo+ to track dispersion. Was out for a long time after work; 86 balls but the first 50+ were 50% swings focusing on top of backswing feel and then just hitting the ball as a psychic reward. Finished with 20 balls close to full speed. Pretty happy with dispersion and also no horrendous misses. I’m chunking my priority piece out into two separate feels, first and more important is the position/balance at top of backswing which is what I was working on. Once I have that engrained I’ll move to transition part.
    • FWIW I never really had issues with the previous generation of Snells. But… I'm not sure I played them a ton, either.
    • I know Dean Snell designed the original Pro V along with a couple of other brands tour balls.  How exactly does the Snell ball have problems.  Did he change something in the design or is a manufacturing error since he cannot afford the unlimited R&D budgets of the big manufacturers to iron out flaws
