Many may know this, but for the ones who don't, I think one of the best ways to increase your ball striking is by working on swing plane. It is the cause of hooks/slices, some of the most common problems with golfers today. If you go to youtube and search golf swing plane, it will explain how to have a right swing plane. This is something my coach taught me, now my ball striking is increasing tremendously. Good Luck everyone!

I agree that swing plane is an excelent thing to work on.

However, going it alone can be very difficult if you don't know what you are looking for or what type of swing you most closely resemble. There are an abundance of body position and swing faults to be aware of.

Proper analysis to get your swing on plane via self-video or a pro is a fantastic way to improve. If you go it alone, ask someone with some experience what they see as well or post it on www.swingacademy.com for some random internet advice.

Also, don't think that much about the club. Focus on the hands. I found a thought today that helps me get the hands more from the inside. Thinking I'm going to come down the same way I went up.

Awards, Achievements, and Accolades

You know whats kinda funny, we do all kinds of different drills and methods to make us hit the ball well, like work on our hip turn or shoulder turn, yet all that matters is how the club is when it hits the ball and how hard it is. Golf is simple yet so difficult to master

I am now a believer. I watched some vids online and tried to use it on the course for the first time without going to the range. Ball sticking was better although i had some hooks and slices but thats something i need to fix at the range. Still a pured shot felt nice.

I shot the lowest round of my life so far today. Thanks.

I would reccomend that if you were to work on your swing plane, then you should adapt a one plane swing if you dont already have one. I have been working on this because ball striking was a bit of an issue with me new irons. I have seen greater distance accuracy, and it is now much easier to cut a ball or turn it over. TRY IT! this one plance swing is why rory mcilroy and adam scott are so good, plus their swings are amazing to look at.
