I'm paraphrasing but basically he "doesn't like the golf course, it's tricked up, I don't care how they set it up, I'll show up and play but this isn't a good course..." They asked Padraig about it and he totally disagreed... Padraig took a nine on number two yesterday and then played 3 under the rest of the way in... Padraig is classy, Sergio not so much...

This is news to you?

He's always been a punk. He won't listen to anyone. He even listen to Seve any more. He's got Seve there trying to teach him how to win, and he won't listen. Fine by me.

Looks like Sergio will never grow up. I have tried to like the guy, but he makes it almost impossible to be a fan of his. I wish he would just stay in Europe.

Agreed... Makes me think about something I read by the great Dave Marr in Golf Digest: you can do a lot of great things in your life but if you act like a jerk people will remember that more than the good stuff

Gotta hand it to the NY fans. They were all over his butt in 2002 at The Black when he was pulling that 100 regrips thing before swinging.

I'm down to a 10 handicap. At this rate, I'll get to scratch at 90 years old!

Oh man, with the Open there in a couple of months, could be very entertaining to see the reception he gets after the way he acted in 2002

What a crybaby. He should try to emulate his countryman Jose Maria who is truly one of the finest gentlemen in the game.

I've got to admit I was always a fan of his stroke play and his aggressive shots on the course. However to see him do stuff like spitting in the cup at doral and whatever makes me think he's just a spoiled brat who throws a tantrum every time something doesn't go his way.

To have people like Padraig Harrington, Angel Cabrera and Trevor Immelman win majors is good to see as they don't expect anything. They play the game as a priviledge not a right like garcia thinks it is. These guys are so humbled when they win and to me, that is great to see.

HA!!!! ....and to think that GolfSmith was running that promo with Taylor Made that if Sergio Won the MAsters, you could get an R9 for free....

I guess TMa and GS did indeed have "that" much confidence on that punk....it certainly was the only time that I have ever rooted for him, and most likely the last.

Why waste my time following this bitter SOB, when you have players like Mickelson, Tiger, Kenny Perry, and many others, that as some have said before, are humbled to play the game.

Who really cares about Sergio? He does not pose a threat to anyone....any tour player can have a good day, and even a good tourney, but a legacy? ...his will not last!

You can spell SERGIO as P U N K expletives deleated.
It's the indian, not the arrow! But it sure is nice to have good arrows!!!!!

    • Day 313 - I played 18 today. First and last holes were ugly, but I actually played pretty well. Driver was great, irons were alright, and the short game was better than average.
    • Day 205 (23 Nov 24) - Worked with the alignment rod and 7i  in reference to ball position in relation to lead foot on full iron shots, noticed an increase in thinned shots last couple of rounds - better contact with the balls (hard foam) during the drill/swing rehearsals.
    • Have you gone to a fitting? A good fitting will not only give you a clubhead but a shaft, etc. that will suit you.
    • It's not like the Nike Vapor Pro are exactly a highly sought set of irons.
    • Last night I was putting my Nike Vapor Pro Irons back in my bag.  I had my sons i500’s in there the last couple months after we all went to Top Golf .  I picked up the Nike’s this past spring and they are like new.  I feel guilty using them… I have other irons that aren’t valuable that I could use instead.
