Headwear

I too have a fat head so it is really difficult to find lids that fit. I have a fitted Titleist cap that is the only one I ever found that was comfortable. We almost had a fight when my wife washed it, but it streched out ok.

I look goofy in most any headwear due to the aforementioned big head, but I wear what I like anyway.

In the fall and spring I wear a driving cap or the Titleist cap. I like hats as well and usually wear one when the sun gets serious for better protection. I have the plantation style and my wife also gave me a straw Stetson that is a kind of a fedora/aussie cowboy style.

Usually just sunglasses when it is sunny out - I hate the Furyk forehead tan line look. When I do wear a hat, it's an International Watch Co. hat (white or black) or a blue, cotton, fitted Detroit Tigers hat (home or away).

Titleist low-profile visor. I have 3 navy blue, 2 white, 1 tan, 1 red, and 1 orange. Never can have too many.

I rock Under Armour and Oakley hats exclusively. Fitted caps too, I guess it's my baseball ego, but i've never been a fan of the adjustable caps.

I can't pull of the visor look. As for caps, while I'll wear fitted caps on other occasions, I prefer adjustable caps for golfing. I sweat alot and I don't like anything that feels too tight around my head. I tend to wear the more breathable fabric caps, of which I have several, it usually depends on what color I'm wearing that day, then I'll try and best match the hat to the primary color.

I wear a black Titleist or Atlanta Braves hat. Made the mistake last year wearing a visor in SC heat. I am bald, so the top of the head was tanned/burned and underneath the visor was burned. If I had painted my eyes green, I could have been green lantern.

In spring and fall, I go with Hogan-style snap-brim cap.

In summer, I go with a very broad-brimmed hat to avoid sun damage (medications make me sensitive to sun burn). These hats are a civilian version of the military desert "bush" hats, and the brims are a little broad for windy days. I may switch to something like a straw fedora so the brim doesn't try to blow away at the top of my swing.

I ususally wear whatever hat best matches to the shirt that I am wearing that day. I have multiple titleist hats, a callaway hat, a Ben Hogan hat, a Maxfli hat and the always trusty Cubs hat. I recently bought this Ping Ranger hat.
It will get put in the rotation this upcoming season.
